Prof. Akbar Manoussi
Founder and Chair of the Board
Professor Manoussi is an internationally recognized economist whose academic career has spanned more than 30 years. He has taught business and management at both Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, supervised and mentored thousands of students, and contributed to research and debate on topics such as global oil diplomacy, Islamic finance, and economic development.
Alongside his academic work, he has been active in Canadian politics, community leadership, and international economic initiatives, including consulting for public bodies and organizing conferences and business forums that connect Canada with other regions.
