Leadership & Team
CHEC is led by Professor Akbar Manoussi, a distinguished scholar and business leader with over 30 years of experience teaching at the University of Ottawa and Carleton University.
He holds degrees in Economics, Law, Applied Economics, and Management Sciences, and has provided advisory services to multinational companies, ministries, chambers of commerce, and academic institutions worldwide.

Founded over three decades ago by Professor Akbar Manoussi, CHEC began as a support platform for international students pursuing higher education in Canada.
